The war which started seven years ago in Iraq is still there. All began when the governments of the United States and the United Kingdom claimed that Iraq’s alleged possession of weapons of mass destruction (WMS) posed a threat to their security and that of their coalition/regional allies. That was not the only excuse to stay there and occupy the country. When there was no longer treat of WMS, the US officials also accused President Sadam Husein of harboring and supporting Al-Quaeda. There was never a proof of this but it used good to stay there. The people of Iraq are without guns, without money, they are bitter and angry for all of the destruction in their country and the occupation. The only thing they can do as a resistance are those bomb attacks. I do not support those attacks. What I do see as the answer is the withdrawal of the army, which was announced by US President Barack Obama. There is no good thing which can come out from the war. Hurt Locker the movie which got the prestige Academy Award- Oscar, shows pretty realistic the life of the people who are there, but still it shows only one side of the story, the US one. There is never asked a question why are they there? Lets do some changes…Ship those men back and give them a chance to make a life at home.

Hurt locker my ass! That is one of the dumbest movies ever!

The US will never leave Iraq. The corrupt Israeli lobby in Washington will see to that. Over sixty years since the end of World War II, the United States still has troops and bases in Germany. The US has troops and bases in over 100 countries around the world. Over a half a trillion dollars a year is spend on “defense” in this country. The US is not interested in helping people but in CONTROL, to further their corrupt agenda.

Have you ever played chess? Let’s assume you havn’t. The pawns, little front men, are plentiful and generic. They offer minimal strategic benefit per unit. This is the game we play in the world. The pawns are the our soldiers, dear to our hearts, but serving a greater strategic objective. Without any pawns, what keeps the other side from capturing a rook or a queen or, better yet, the king. There is no protection from the enemy.
So, I ask you this, would you rather the anti-american powers that be spend their time procuring small arms and conducting skirmishes, or organizing coordinated nuclear bombings in our most populated cities?

  • bobroberts

Weapons of Mass Destruction = WMS? Not sure how that works out. Sadam’s Iraq had made attempts to build nuclear weapons, and all intelligence at the time suggested he had stockpiles of biological and chemical weapons. The fact that they were not found is fortunate, not regrettable. Regardless of what weapons he may or may not have had, the Iraq we know today is almost undoubtedly a better one than the Iraq ruled by Sadam.

  • maze

@bobreberts, you really live in a bubble don’t you ? There never were any weapons of mass destruction and both US and UK governments knew that very well. You probably still believe it was a scary man called ‘Osama’ that was in charge of all the attacks.

People wake up! The attacks on 911 were self inflicted by US government, to scare the people to death (literally) to apply what we now know to be the Anti-Terrorist Law. They tried to apply it in the past, and wouldn’t go through. After the attacks – with everyone frightened, the law was immediately applied.

Under this Law, the US and UK governments can hold anybody and I mean anybody, for as long as they like without a trial, to the suspicion that one could be a terrorist. Yes, read your laws and beware.

Turn off your bloody TV America and go out and see the world! Go and explore your beautiful country even ! and open your minds and judge for yourselves, stop being sheep of your corrupt government. They only can do this because you let them!

  • nikolap79

get the fuck out of there!!! leave that people alone.

u have destroyed one more nation, i hope u are happy now!??!

  • Jack

It is time to stop this genocide.
Put the rope in the Mr. Runfeld and Bush family to bring peace to this side of the world.

  • John

It’s clear to anyone with knowledge of world political and economic affairs that this is about power and money. Nothing more, nothing less. The essence of American, British and Western European strategy is to dis-empower peoples and countries which have raw materials and technology that threaten their dominant economic positions.

Looking back in history the Europeans colonised and enslaved sovereign nations in order to further their agenda. Nothing has changed. The spin is just a little more sophisticated, the weapons are a lot more powerful and the bribes are bigger.

To survive you need to play by the rules of the bullies. If you feel strongly about American foreign policy, stop buying their products or doing business with their companies. Do the same with the Europeans, China, Japan, Korea, Burma, Australia, New Zealand…

There’s nothing worse than a hypocrite! If you wish to make a point hit them in the pocket and arrange your life to live without their influence. Don’t just complain and do nothing.

How do you know when a politician is lying? You know when you see their lips are moving. When it doesn’t make economic sense to them they move on to something else.

Remember, every country gets the government they deserve.

  • John me

Dont be hypocrate , we do this becouse we can take adventage from the weaks , not becouse we must protect our country … how mant congressman have relatives in the service??? keeping this huge army is a way to have those lazys sons , and doughters of…. occupied

  • jane

when i saw that photos, i felt sad.for both side.for the people of iraq and the military troops of america.the children and women crying of whats happening to their country…and the wives of soldiers who cry for the loss of their husband…why is it happening to our world??

  • jane

this is all fault of those terrorist who only know how to create bombs.they are the bad people.they are the people who must suffer.and to die…not the innocent ones.and not the people who are fighting for peace.when i watch HURT LOCKER, i understand what the american soldiers are up to.the reason why they are in that place.not knowing when and how they will die.lucky if can still count the days they were alive.

  • John

    @Jane

Yes, those terrorists are the ones sitting in Washington and London. The USA and UK have a long history of meddling in other countries affairs.

The USA, UK and others have no right to invade a country just because they don’t their politics! If that was the case then why are you guys waiting to invade China, virtually all the African continent and most of South and Central America.

    What a bunch of hypocrites!!!

  • jane

    hi JOHN…where u from????

  • John

Hi Jane, I’m from South Africa, way down south in a beautiful place called Cape Town.

  • jane

  • robin yates

soldiers go where they are sent and do what their superior officers tell them, however I don’t think it is a coincidence that so many ground forces are having mental problems because they are being asked to do stuff they should never have been asked to do

  • Beverly

bobroberts according to who ???? “The US & UK” and it allies – that Iraq is far better country now that the US & UK invaded and mass murder over 150,000 men, women, and children? Displaced several more million people – refugees who are now without home – loss of country – family – everything. Refugees to countries that are already burdened and do not want them and these poor people are victimized again over and over. Young children sold for food – young girls forced into prostitution. People hungry, homeless – no hope for many. We invaded Iraq illegally and nothing will change the truth of this.

And for our gift the USA -Last body count of our young men and women being sent home in body bags 5,000 plus now. Don’t forget to count the men & women that are coming home with loss of limbs, sight & mind to a government that will fail them the same as they did our brothers and sisters in Vietnam era… So bobroberts sleep well with your faith that Iraq is a better country now. Do you feel vindicated some how?

  • i.b.blackman

my dear, cuntry is based upon my peoples subjugation(the african american) and the virtual anihilation of the native populace which has been carried on before and after the constitution was written,so how the fuck can such a facist state, with such warped and contemptable ideals of democrcy bring about democratic change anywhere, before it embraces democracy within its own boundaries!!!!!!!

  • $$themighty$$rules for sure

  • alex

The world today is ruled by the jungle law. I’m sure that the US will withdraw their troops but they didn’t find the right way yet. leaving iraq and staying there hurts the US

  • jane

    ei John…i sent u mail…did u read it???

  • Mr. Robert2

hi Jane. it seems that you have never been at school.

  • CombatMedic

The point of occupation in foreign countries of unstable or questionable balance of powers is to proactively prevent direct attacks on US soil. I am an American soldier in Baghdad, Iraq. This country has come a long long way in the years sine we have been here and I was witness to the countries first valid election.. people turned out by the thousands with more hope and conviction for their new freedom to choose than Americans do. We came to this country to prevent all of you at home from having to suffer this war on YOUR doorsteps.. if they have to suffer it on their doorsteps then that is fine with us. And this war has made a positive difference in the Iraqi culture and their sense of self, as witnessed by me and my brothers in arms. If you have not been here to see it, your opinion does not matter.

  • sonoflife

ww2 america was critized for not comeing earlier to stop the
gassing of 600000 Jews in germany. Iraq was gasing shooting kurds we went in earily only 28000 was killed
guess that not reason enough to go into Iraq…Guess the
brainwash of hate politics took it to differant levels like oil,
or weapons of mass detrucution invented in the small room
of conspicousy of some polical salesman and unleshed by
lousy politically charged media. The truth covered by liars
but none was ever there..How times change how we have to
have a special reason more than stoping madmen murdering
    inoccent people…

  • sonoflife

    To the American Soldiers,Marines,Airforce,Navy

best AMERICANS WE HAVE!!!!! God Bless each one of you!

  • CombatMedic

Right, “logan”, because typing in all caps obviously means your coherent and know what your talking about. And your working with an Iraqi girl whos family was chased out of Iraq.. in Canada? Sounds like shes better off now than she was in her own country, or more likely, you made that story up. Also, if you think Iraq was peaceful before, tell that to the families who had their males executed by Sadam’s Lieutenants. Your a fucking tard, a troller, and a keyboard tough-guy with no real balls or courage to do a god-damn thing about anyone or anything. I pity the day your country turns to rely on you and those like you to defend itself.. you’ll fail and all those you love will suffer for your weakness. In “THE USA”, we do not have that problem. P.S. I called your bluff on finding you “logan”, assuming thats your last name, there are 42 Logan’s in Halifax.. guess your aren’t so brave as to bash the USA and call yourself out after all.

  • Dan in Baghdad

I’m still trying to figure out how the US and Britian can exist in isolation from the rest of the world, as so many people seem to believe is possible. If we could, just leaving Iraq might make sense. I am also aware that some Iraqi’s benefitted from Saddam’s regime and would like to see the Ba’athist come back. There are people here that would gladly kill Americans and Britians. Overall, it seems to me through direct observation that these people are a small minority and most people want to live in a peaceful and stable society.

Saddam’s legacy would have been Uday and Qusy Hussien. Uday would have teenaged girls kidknapped of the streets of Baghdad so he could rape them. A compasionate man, he would have the girls killed to spare their families the shame of having to deal with the rape. Qusy preferred to feed people to the lions in his personal zoo. I can say this wasn’t a peaceful society I’d like to live in.

I wish I was so smart as many of the people commenting with such certainty on right and wrong, good and evil and the conditions here in Iraq. In the mist of it, I can’t see what these people see. Must be they have lots of fancy book learn’n.

  • Iraq Falcon

Hi My name is ibrahim and im from iraq
i just want to say the iraq never have this one called
( weapons of mass destruction (WMS))
and we don’t have a nuclear weapons
believe me there are nothing we have
    we just a normal country
we just want to have some peace
our families most of them have been killed
    we don’t have weapons
but because of US the weapons are sold to iraqi’s to defend them self and defend they’re families
nothing more i want to add on this

if u want to talk with me just add me on Yahoo
    Peace (Bye)

  • CombatMedic

Bullcrap Ibrahim. Under Sadam’s regime the iraqi people had no idea where or how many weapons he had hidden. I have been to these old munition cache’s buried in industrial yards etc.. AND you sure as hell did have all the pieces required to make a weapon of mass destruction, your country just hadnt gotten around to putting the pieces together yet.. because we intervened. Also, your people are not ‘buying weapons to defend themselves’ from Americans, thats a straight lie. Under the SOFA agreement (status of forces agreement) that the US agrees on and revises with the iraqi security forces, the iraqi people are not allowed possession of weapons inside city limits without a permit.. enforced by your own military and police, so you are right – you don’t have weapons. You dont have them anymore that is. The US military has liberated your country from unwarranted murder and control by a tyrant, ran your country for you long enough for *us* to rebuild *your* security forces, and have now handed over full control of your country to your own military and police. We have done our job, thats why we’re pulling out. If you want peace now it is on your own shoulders to prove it.

  • Khaled

To whoever says that Iraq now is much better than the Iraq under Sadam Hussain regime ……GET LOST.
Killing a Million innocent people, (this is one and six zeros …. 1,000,000) and making more than 3 millions other homeless, and destroying a whole country for nothing,… FOR NOTHING… is a crime by itself no matter what justifications you say.
You know what’s the problem?? it is picturing USA as a country, army and soldiers in the “Victim” shoes. Wake up and smell the truth buddy…… you are the KILLER, the CRIMINAL. So don’t play victim anymore.

  • CombatMedic

You have your stats wrong and your claiming you know what the problem is? That 1,000,000 casualties your referring to is civilian casualties estimated by 1 (one), thats 1 with no zeros, report compared to the dozens of others, including surveys done by the iraqi’s themselves, that estimate much much less – between 100,000 and 500,000. Specifically that total (its actually 1.2 million with a error of +/- 2.5%) is attributed to the Opinion Research Business survey, which includes ALL deaths – violent, nonviolent, enemy, coalition, american, caused by action due to coalition AND INSURGENT military action, sectarian violence, criminal violence, lawlessness, degraded infrastructure, poorer health care, etc. Moral of the story? Know what your talking about before you open your damn mouth. You think you know what the ‘problem’ is? Did you even read the survey you decided to vomit up on this page like you knew what you were talking about? Have you been to Iraq to see the changes? People like you.. sitting in your little house with your little idea about what you think is going on and the little bit of courage you can muster up to bash people that sacrifice for you when you have *no* idea how things really are.. people like you are the problem. destroyed a whole country? we built this place from the ground up to what it is today. killing innocents? my platoon has not fired a single shot in 280 days here. know what your talking about or shut your mouth.

  • Jack

In the name of “Helping” people all they are doing is mass murder…

The US should stop “helping” other nations and think of dealing with their own f*cking problems like foreign debt

F*ck George ‘Dublya’ Bush and the jew minority that controls america behind the screen

  • Buck Fush

AMERICA THE LAND OF THE PUSSIES.

Dropping bombs from the sky and killing innocent lives is nothing more than a cowardice terrorism act. Feeding the masses false information through the media like CNN, Fox etc is nothing more than a propaganda.

    Go Fuck yourself AmeriKKKans!!!

  • tlakoache

    fuck you gringo.

  • CombatMedic

So that’s all you guys have? You were presented with valid arguments on why the US Military has acted the way it does – educated on the actual results of search for WMD’s, casualty rates of the war, the crimes of sadam’s regime – and all you have to throw back is ‘f#$k amerrica!! lolz’? I guess we shouldn’t be ‘helping’ with Pakistan’s flooding situation either? Your pathetic.

  • robin yates

I am British and although I support the UK troops in Afghanistan,I am angry that a previous Prime Minister, Blair, took us to war with the Americans. We have no right to enter another country and attempt to change their method of government and all what will have been achieved is the loss of good and brave soldiers. The war in Afghanistan is being lost ,,, just look at the history books to see the Afghans have never been beaten, after all they are fighting for their country unlike the Brits and the Yanks who have no right being there.

  • http://www.bestfunvideos.com Nina

Most of those images are very touchy..

  • Navyguns

Combat medic is absolutely right. For anybody that wasn’t there then your opinion doesn’t mean shit. That country is a shithole before we got there, and unless you were part of the Ba’ath party you were in danger of genocide. Most of you here are pizza faced kiddies living with mommy and daddy, getting your, oh! So mighty, opinions are from your liberal douchbags teachers whom never lifted a finger to help this great country of America and do everything in their power to brainwash innocent minds of our youth. This goes for all countries that don’t do shit to rid a world of dictators like saddam. You call us pussies??? you dumb shit, internet living monitor zombies, we’re helping protect this world, and you stupid shits sit there basking in the freedom to condemn the U.S. because people like us helped to provide that freedom. You! Are the pussies, get off your ass and do something to help this place become a better world to live in, and until you do you are not worthy to make atrocious comments about the brave people that helped the Iraqi people.

iraq wan to bomb all over US? bullcrap. On Internet you can say whatever you want, claim whoever you are. Like combatmedic, US troop in iraq? meh. Im an alien from the 6th dimension. You have no way to prove im not

  • citizen k

America, get out from Iraq!! Free Iraq not bomb Iraq!!! MURDERERS!!!!

  • CombatMedic

yes amerikkka, im a us soldier deployed to iraq. just finished my mid tour leave in lovely orlando florida. i am a specialist field medic based out of Ft Stewart, GA attached to 3rd ID 1st brigade combat team, 5/7 cavalry. I would invite you to look me up, however, seeing as i dont know who you are im not taking the risk of exposing my unit information to a terrorist. Right now im sitting in the Atlanta, GA USO waiting on my flight back to baghdad iraq. I said goodbye yet again to my wife less than 2 hours ago and im really hoping i get to see her again. I really do not care about you or what you think of me or the war, the fact is we are doing what we deem best for our families and for the freedom of our citizens, and not you or anyone else can stop me or my bothers in arms. as long as the fighting is not on american soil, it doesnt matter if we win or loose.. we’ve still done our jobs.

  • http://na Nicodemus

    @ CombatMedic & Navyguns

Please don’t put our level of education on the situation over there under such … ridiculous scrutiny / criticism. What do you get told, that makes you the expert? Just because you are there? Don’t be naive. You’re nothing but a soldier, trained to follow orders, not become great thinkers.

That said, stupid comments are … well, just stupid.

The fact remains that the US* is one hell of an agressive nation and Haiti and Pakistan are futile attempts to ‘correct’ the image they have internationally. I wish nobody ill except the ones who do ill to others and I won’t deny I feel a small surge of euphoria with every report of another US soldier killed, Iraq or Afghanistan. The sorrow on your family’s / friends’ faces does nothing to me. Nothing. They voted. They supported.

While I am not at arms (can snipe comfortably at 600m though), here is a promise: Invade my country or the continent I live on, and I will take up arms against you.

*the UK is just an island of pale-skinned idiots never able to wage war by themselves.

I agree with your comment totally, thanks
