Rare Disease – Progeria

This unfortunate fella is only 24 years old. He is suffering from the very rare disease called Progeria. Progeria is premature aging at early age. People who was born with this disease usually die as a teens. Leon Botha is very lucky (if I can tell that concerning his condition) to be 24 years old. No one knows for how long will he live. We can only hope that he will live long enough.

   A weird thing about this disease is how, like down’s syndrome, they all have very similar features.

   I’m glad he’s lived longer than most, I hope it continues.
